Slash is a great musician.
His work on Guns N' Roses, Snakepit and several guest appearances will
always remain in our minds as truly great music that we'll
never forget. Plus, the
countless reports of his meetings with his fans after the shows and his
fan mail show all his dedication to us.
We thought it was time to
give to Slash something back for all that he gave us trough all this years
and the best way to do it was with music!
Ain't Slash Grand?! is a
fan tribute album put together by Rui Andrade and Tiago Borges with a big
help from Michelle Thorpe who made the amazing
artwork of the album and
Linda Scott who announced the tribute on Slash
Official Fan Page so that all Slash fans could be part of it.
From Brazil to Netherlands,
U.S.A. to Portugal, Italy, Australia, Finland, Argentina, Canada, Belgium,
... fans all over the world wanted to pay a tribute to
Slash with a song performed
by them.
This modest but heartfelt
tribute reflects how much Slash has influenced our lifes. Every band involved
on the tribute gave their best and we hope Slash
will enjoy it!
